I created Bella the Butterfly for my own School, Butterfly Ballet and the children LOVE it! My teachers and assistants encouraged me to make it into something other teachers could use as they said you can never have too many ideas with pre school classes!! So I found an incredible artist to bring the adventures to life through the illustrations and soft toy, then I had the music especially composed by a wonderful musician. 

 I created a focus group of dance teachers to test her out to make sure she was tip top, resulting in wonderful feedback.

The beauty of this resource is it's autonomous to you, there is no licence, it's not a franchise, it's just a toolbox of ideas that you can use as how best suits your classes. 

I hope you find it a fun and helpful resource to give a little inspiration of ideas and may Bella fly high in your Schools!

Bella the Butterfly was created by Catherine Loveless  (BA Hons, ARAD, PDTD), who trained at the Royal Ballet School and performed professionally with the Dusseldorf Ballet and English National Ballet.

She has been running her own School and delighting her pupils with Bella since 2012.
